FIAV Bypass and Delete Plates for 3000GT / Stealth / GTO

The E3SP Fast Idle Air Valve Bypass and Delete Plates offer a solution for removing the Throttle Body Coolant Hoses, without causing a high idle RPM once the engine is fully warmed up.
 
Most of the 25+ year old FIAVs no longer function properly and often get stuck slightly open, creating a constant vacuum leak and a high RPM idle that even the IAC cannot correct.
 
In addition, removing the troublesome coolant hoses from your throttle body, make jobs like spark plug change, a breeze!
 
By using the E3SP FIAV Bypass or Delete Plates, you can eliminate the Throttle Body Coolant Hoses and maintain a normal hot idle of around 750 RPM.
 
Faulty FIAVs can even leak coolant into your throttle body; this is a very bad situation!
 
The Delete plate seals off the entire FIAV, including ISC air passages. It's for those removing both ISC and FIAV. You can keep the FIAV in place (non-functional) or remove it completely.
 
To ensure a proper seal between the E3SP FIAV Bypass Plate and the Throttle Body, you can use a new FIAV Gasket. Note that the OEM FIAV Cover Plate does not have a channel for the Oring Seal, so you cannot use an OEM FIAV Oring Seal on the E3SP FIAV Bypass Plate to OEM FIAV Cover Plate surfaces. Silicone should be used for this side of the E3SP FIAV Bypass Plate.
